This movie is HILARIOUS. I love LOVE Ryan Reynolds when he plays charmingly sarcasticly witty charactersas he does here. Reynolds plays Andrew who is the personal assistant to Editor in Chief Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock). Margaret is "Satan's mistress" a.k.a. a hard nosed icy witch who makes Andrew's life a living hell every day. She finds out that she's going to be deported to Canada and to stay in the States she tells INS that she's getting married to Andrew. They end up spending a lovely weekend with Andrew's family in Alaska and shenanigans ensue. There are so many awesomely hilarious and witty lines. I think one of my favorites is when Margaret is climbing down a ladder to a dock (she's freaked out and in heels so she takes it SUPER slow) and she finally gets to the bottom and Andrew says "Congratulations. I'm 100 years old." Maybe you had to see it for it to be funny but I laughed SO hard! Just his dry delivery was too funny. Of course it had all those cliched RomCom moments, but it was just so darn funny (without being crass!). Definitely a must see. (It's currently on Netflix streaming, so check it out!) A
